Temperatures during the winter months range from 15ºC to 19ºC (59ºF to 66ºF) and in the summer months they range from 22ºC to 25ºC (72ºF to 77ºF) making this coastal location an excellent destination to enjoy a delightful climate.

Sigths and Attractions
The region of Antofagasta, embedded in the Chile’s far north, is characterized by the extension of its territory, the variety of its climate and topography, and for its flora and fauna among other things. It has an interesting, varied and recognized number of tourist resources, natural as much as cultural, and of special characteristics that make for an interesting region with great potential for the development of tourist activities, fundamentally archeological, anthropological, historic and scenic.

During your visit you can appreciate landscapes of untold natural beauty. The coastal urban centers preserve in their architecture the footprints of a lavish past where nitrate, also known as white gold, left its mark in a period of bonanzas giving way to absolute solitude and tranquil silence. Tourist activity in the foothills is based on the two fundamental pillars of archaeology and the highlands plateau or altiplano landscape and all that it entails: remoteness, solitude and infinite skies that seem to reach the stars. These two components joined with the indigenous architecture of the regional towns, synergistically interact to shape a region with tourist potential.
